Mobility “Town Hall” Call Information
CWA District 6 is preparing to utilize today’s advanced technology by launching a new innovative means to share information with members. The District will host periodic “Town Hall” calls with Mobility workers as we prepare for and proceed through the upcoming contract negotiations. The first of these calls is scheduled to be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday December 11, 2011. These calls will provide insights on the bargaining process and updates on what is happening at the bargaining table. Mobilization activities will also be a regular topic of discussion.
It is very simple to participate. Members can register to listen in on the call by:
1) RSVP in advance by texting the word UPDATE to 69866 or signing up at http://district6.cwa-union.org/mobilitycall . Mobility workers can use either method to input their cell number. If workers prefer to be called on their landline number, registration will need to be done via the website. The auto-dialer will call everyone who registers on their preferred number a few minutes before the call starts. Simply answer the call and you are connected in on the call.
2) Listen online by going to district6.cwa-union.org/mobilitycall.
Attached is a link containing a new flyer with this updated information. Please take every opportunity to circulate and spread the word.
