ATTENTION ALL AT&T (LEGACY T) MEMBERS
The current Labor Agreement between the Communications Workers of America and AT&T (Legacy T) expired tonight at 11:59 ET. Your CWA Bargaining Committee has been working for several weeks to reach a tentative agreement on a fair and equitable contract. Unfortunately, the company has taken, and held to, unacceptable positions at the bargaining table. Please be advised that an agreement on a new contract has not been reached at this time. CWA leadership and your Bargaining Committee have made the decision that we will continue negotiations and work without a contract for the time being. This means the wages, benefits and provisions of the current contract will remain in effect.
All CWA members should report to work and continue to work their scheduled tours until further notified.

MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Regular monthly Membership Meetings will resume in accordance with Article VII of the Local 6143 Bylaws. The meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at 8:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Local Union hall located at 1027 North St. Mary’s Street in San Antonio, Tx. Please take an interest in your Local by attending this, and future, monthly Membership Meetings on a regular basis and actively participating in moving the Local forward. The next meeting will be held on June 14th.

Important Information - Immediate Action Required
The link below contains important information and the DRF-1 form that must be filled out and submitted to the local in preparation for the possibility of a strike action. This form is a requirement in order for members to be eligible to receive financial assistance from the Member's Relief Fund during a duly authorized strike. It is important that all members read the information and fill out the DFR-1 form. If you did not receive this information in the mail, please call the local (210-224-6143) to update your mailing address.

Chief Steward Cynthia Guy is the local's mobilization chairperson for these contract negotiations. Please get active in any mobilization activities when asked to do so. Remember this is YOUR contract - take ownership of the bargaining process.
